Suppliers Register

In accordance with its Acquisition Procedures Regulation for goods, services, and works, FAF Toscana has established a Suppliers Register to which any economic operator, possessing the required qualifications for class or merchandise or service category, can request to be enrolled at any time.

The Suppliers Register constitutes the list of economic operators to whom FAF Toscana can turn, as an alternative to market surveys, for the request for proposals and/or offers. Without prejudice to the possibility that, after conducting a market survey, FAF Toscana invites non-registered operators to submit an offer, the awarding of services, supplies, and/or works is in any case subject to prior regular registration in the Suppliers Register.

How to register

Once the documentation review is successfully completed, the economic operator is registered in the Suppliers Register for the requested categories without the need for notice. In case the review has a negative outcome, a specific communication will be provided.

The review process for applications received will, from time to time, be completed within 30 days, unless extended by no more than 30 days in case the request requires additional information and/or clarifications.

In the event that, even if requested, the necessary additional information and/or clarifications are not provided, the review will have a negative outcome and the applicant will not be included in the Register, without prejudice to the possibility of resubmitting the application later within the ordinary terms.

Registration in the Suppliers Register does not guarantee the awarding with the consequence that registered economic operators can claim nothing if, during the validity period of their registration, no acquisitions or requests for offers are made for the category/categories of merchandise or service in which they are registered.

The required qualifications must be held throughout the entire period of actual registration in the Register: the loss of any of the required qualifications will result in the forfeiture of registration, with the obligation of the economic operator to promptly communicate this circumstance to the FAF's PEC address or, in the absence of the latter, in case of verification by FAF Toscana, will result in the definitive removal of the economic operator from the Suppliers Register.

The possession of the qualifications is verified on each procurement procedure that involves the participating operator.

Those registered in the Suppliers Register are required to update their data at least annually.

Removal from the suppliers register

FAF Toscana reserves the indisputable right to order the removal from the Suppliers Register of the economic operator upon the occurrence of at least one of the following circumstances:

i) cessation of the operator's activity or subjection to any of the measures of the business crisis that prevent the continuous operation of the activity;

ii) submission of false declarations or omission of information;

iii) loss of declared qualifications;

iv) emergence of one of the exclusion causes provided for by art. 80 of Legislative Decree 50/16;

v) default due to gross negligence or willful misconduct or serious irregularities in the execution of the assignment, duly contested and/or verified even in the absence of a final judgment.

The motivated removal order is communicated via PEC to the economic operator.
