The SISF - Società italiana per lo studio della fotografia has published on its website a scientific report on the history, value and prospects of the Alinari photographic heritage following its public acquisition.

The document is the result of an agreement between the SISF and the Tuscany Region and saw a dialogue with a number of institutions and bodies of particular interest in the field of conservation and enhancement of photographic heritage, with the intention of continuing the work, inviting those working in this field to collaborate and participate in a joint reflection on the significance and potential of the public acquisition of this heritage.
