Cookie

The site uses cookies, small text files that allow storing information about visitors' preferences, to improve the site's functionalities, to simplify navigation by automating procedures (e.g. login, site language), and for analyzing site usage.

Session cookies are essential for distinguishing between connected users, and are useful to prevent a requested functionality from being provided to the wrong user, as well as for security purposes to prevent cyber attacks on the site. Session cookies do not contain personal data and last only for the current session, i.e., until the browser is closed. No consent is required for them.

The functionality cookies used by the site are strictly necessary for the use of the site, in particular, they are linked to an explicit request for functionality from the user (such as login), for which no consent is required.

By using the site, the visitor expressly consents to the use of cookies.

Cookie management: consent to their use

Deleting cookies does not preclude the use of the site.

Users/visitors can set their computer's browser to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a warning whenever a cookie is proposed, to evaluate whether to accept it or not.

By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies.

You can still modify the default settings, or disable cookies (i.e., block them permanently), by setting the highest level of protection in the browser, but disabling them may compromise the use of site functions.

It is still possible to delete or eliminate cookies from your device, using the appropriate functions present in the browser. Deleting cookies does not preclude the use of the site, but involves the repetition of the authentication procedure, that is, re-entering the access credentials.

There are also components (plugins) for the most popular browsers that allow:

  • the management (viewing, deletion, blocking) of cookies

  • the disabling of third-party JavaScript pages

  • the viewing of the technologies used by the site

  • the viewing and selective blocking of different tracking mechanisms

Disabling cookies

Cookies can be disabled directly from the browser used, thus refusing/revoking consent to the use of cookies. It should be noted that disabling cookies may prevent the proper use of some functions of the site itself.
