She was born in Piacenza and lives in Trento and Milan. She began taking photographs in her studio and then took up travel photography, reportages that have been published in the most important national and international publications. She has also penned many photo books, some with important figures: Venezia with the historian Alvise Zorzi; Roma with Hon. Giulio Andreotti; Trento with Prof. Camillo Semenzato. She has traveled various times to the East, India, and in Oceania where she became passionate about aborigines, with whom she has lived for long periods.
