Roosevelt (1882 - 1945), Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965) and General Secretary Joseph Stalin (1879 - 1953), respectively, for the purpose of discussing Europe's post-war reorganization. The conference convened in the Livadia Palace near Yalta, in the Crimea.
