The young Blanche Vogel was educated in England and France and came out in Rome (Italy) like socialite debutant when her mother Blanche married in 1921 the italian marquis GEROLAMO SOMMI PICENARDI di Calvatone (Cremona 1869 - 1926). In october 1930 married the count ANTONIO MARTINI CROTTI (La Spezia 1899 - Roma 1989) and became naturalized italian with name of countesse BLANCHE (usually named BIANCA) MARTINI CROTTI. The couple have 3 daughters (the 2nd Bianca Alessandra born in 1937, married in 1966 Henry William SAGE Junior). Blanche and housband Antonio dead the same day 31 may 1989 in Rome.
