1871 ca, ROMA, ITALY : The italian painter ONORATO CARLANDI (1848 - 1939). At 18 he went to volunteer between Giuseppe Garibaldi troups. Later in Naples to improve his artistic training with Domenico Morelli. In 1871 he returned to Rome and exhibited paintings inspired by the Risorgimento. In 1875, with Cabianca, Visco, Maccari, Ettore Roesler Franz, Pio Joris and Cesare Biseo, he founded the Society of Watercolourists Romans (Società degli Acquarellisti Romani). In London from 1880 until 1891, returned to Rome took part in the company " In Arte Libertà "with co-founder Nino Costa.
