1945, 13 march, ROMA, ITALY : Romans demonstrate against Lt. Generale MARIO ROATTA (1887 - 1968) near ancient Colosseum. Roatta escaped from jail, interrupting War guilt trial. Left in the photo a Communist banner red flag. On 5 March 1945, Roatta escaped from the Virgilio Army Hospital in Rome, probably due to the complicity of the British Secret Service.
