IRAN : The Teheran Conference, held between November 28 and December 1, 1943, was the World War II meeting of the heads of government of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union, represented by President Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882 - 1945), Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965) and General Secretary Joseph Stalin (1879 - 1953), respectively, for the purpose of discussing Europe's post-war reorganization.
