1880 ca, GENOVA, ITALY : The italian young Conte FRANCESCO PUCCIO-PREFUMO (born in Paris, France, 1862), when was young dressed in Medieval style like a Paggio (the Ippogrifo, the Griffin is the araldic symbol of Genoa town) for an historical cortege inspired by the ancients times of Repubblica Marinara of Genova. Photo by Pietro Speich, Genova. Born from count Giuseppe PUCCIO (1818 - 1896) and Fanny (Francesca) PREFUMO (1835 - 1914), married in 1889 with his Florentine cousin ELVIRA PUCCIO. The couple have 2 sons : Beppino (Giuseppe, 1896 - 1918) death at the battle of Montello during the WWI, Rosendita Maria (born in Genova, 1898) married in 1923 with Generale Marchese Orso SERRA di Via dei SERRA (1887 - 1979) and have 3 sons. The grandfather of Francesco, named Stefano PUCCIO was covered on Papal investiture in 1814 but was also related with the most celebrated Hero and anti-Pope of italian Risorgimento like GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI (his grandmother was Isabella Margherita PUCCIO from Chiavari, 1742 - 1813) and GIUSEPPE MAZZINI.
