1875 ca., ROMA, ITALY : The TORRE DEI BORGIA (The Borgia Tower, XI Century) in San Pietro in Vincoli on Monte Esquilino, Rione Monti. Undentified photographer. The CASE DEI BORGIA have this name why the cardinal Rodrigo Borgia stay in this homes and give more lavish parties but in reality was proprierty of noble family of Cesarini and after of Margani. The tower became the bell-tower of the church of Chiesa di San Francesco di Paola. In this photo of 1875 ca can see that on a lawn has drawn a laundry to dry, in fact the building on the left was to be occupied by a religious school or orfanage or a hospital. In back ground is cleary seen the tower of CAMPIDOGLIO (The Capitol) of Roma
