1650 ca, FRANCE: The french sculptor JACQUES SARAZIN l'ainè (1592-1660), engraved portrait by Charles Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790), 1731. He went to Rome in 1610, speedily obtained employment from Cardinal Aldobrandini at the Villa Aldobrandini, Frascati, where he won the friendship of celebrated painter Domenichino with whom he afterwards worked on the high altar of Sant'Andrea della Valle
