The Town / village of Secoton (Secota). Engraving of a bird's eye view of the village, with huts of light pole and mat construction. At the top of the path which runs through the village, two figures are tending a fire, while further down others are preparing food, and others dance round a circle of posts. Outside the village, figures are hunting with bows and arrows, and there are fields of corn, plots of tobacco, sunflowers, and borders of pumpkins, from 'Travels through Virginia' from Theodor De Bry's 'America', vol.
