Was the sons of Conte Alfonso Spalletti Trivelli (1842 - 1926) and Jenny dei Marchesi Fontanelli. Franco married in 1925 with Alessandra dei Conti Della Gherardesca. Giulio married in 1915 with Rosa Lanza dei principi di Scalea (1892 - 1967). Paola married in 1922 with Marchese Amerigo Antinori.
