Hortense was the daughter of french politician Comte Alexandre Charles Omer ROUSSELIN de CORBEAU de SAINT ALBIN (Paris, c.1773 - 1847) and Anne Marie Esperance CLEMENTINE. Alexandre was Delegate of the Board of Public Safety in Troyes, denounced because of this mission after 9 Thermidor, was later secretary general of the Ministry of War under Bernadotte and founder, 1 March 1815, the Constitutional, after founding "The sheet of Public Safety ". Hortense married ACHILLE JUBINAL (1810 - 1875) french politician, writer and medievalists.
