From a jewish family of bankers from Strasburg, Alsace , close to rich bankers family of Barons De Rothschild. A Madame Ratisbonne figure in the testament of baroness Betty de Rothschild (1805 1886), member of Betty's Societe' de Secours Mutuels founded in Paris in 1843 for the jevish poors and childhood hospitals and patronnage of Arts
