1887, Praha, BOHEMIA : The austrian explorer and voyager ANTON STECKER (Josephsthal aka Jungbunzlau, Bohemia 1855 - 1888). Image dedicated to NANI (Giovanni) ROSSONI, son of italian Vice Console in Tripolitania F.E. Rossoni (Tripoli, Libya, AFRICA) for the aid during the expedition Kufra Oasis with explorer Gerhard Rohlfs (1831 - 1896). Stecker studied science in Heidelberg and in 1878 accompanied Gerhard Rohlfs on his expedition to Kufra. Back to Benghazi in 1879, he went at the request of African society from 1880 to Tripoli and from there, with Gerhard Rohlfs Abyssinia. During Rohlfs return to Europe, has adopted a map of Tanasee in 1881 came after Godjam, entered from there in the country of the Oromo before unknown, but in the captivity of the King Menelik " of Holocaust ". On the use of Antinoris released, Stecker was taken a few Lakes in Abyssinia in 1883 and returned to Europe. It was the " Order of Solomon's Seal ", the decoration " Order of Merit " by the Abyssinian Emperor Yohannes IV. He died at age 33 for Tuberculosis at home.
