George Grey Barnard (1863 - 1938) statue of Abraham Lincoln in Lytle Park, Cincinnati, Ohio, presented to that city by Mrs. Charles P. Taft. This statue, sculpted by George Grey Barnard and erected in London in 1917, has been the subject of much controversy. It has been criticized as 'Lincoln's second martyrdom. At last in London was erected near Westminster the Lincoln monument by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, a copy of same monument erected in Lincoln Park, Chicago.
