Expecially celebrated for his daring ballets of early 1910's FIREBIRD (L'uccello di fuoco), PETROUCHKA (Petruska) and THE RITE OF SPRINGS (La saga della primavera), he composed a great variety of innovative works that made him one of the chief trend setters of the 20th century.
