1932 , USA : Italian illustrated magazine L'ILLUSTRATO, 2 june 1932, with in cover the most celebrated woman aviator AMELIA EARHART (1897 - 1937) just arrived with plane at Londonderry (IRELAND) airport. Earhart was the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross which she was awarded as the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
