1840, Rome, ITALY : The italian Marchese GIOVANNI PATRIZI NARO MONTORO (Roma 1823 - Prataglia 1891)later married in Milano 1822 with his cousin Maddalena of counts barons Cavazzi della Somaglia (1835- 1857), the couple dont have sons. Giovanni was the son of Marchese Filippo Patrizi Naro Montoro (born 1801) and Giovanna dei Conti Baroni Cavazzi della Somaglia (1802- 1830). Pencil SELFPORTRAIT by Giovanni with the 2 brothers: FRANCESCO (Roma 1823 - 1905, later married in 1856 ca with princesse Teresa Altieri, the couple have seven sons) and VIRGINIA (Roma 1822 - 1898, later married in 1851 ca with marchese Francesco Paolo Spinola). At time of self-portrait his mother was dead and the father remarried in Roma, 15 april 1804 with another noblewoman: the princess Giulia Chigi Albani princess della Rovere (born 1804). From this 2nd marriage born others 4 sons. In 1840 Giovanni Patrizi and brothers Francesco and Virginia still have home in the celebrated and wonderful ancient VILLA PATRIZI in Rome in front of Porta Pia, alft-destroyed for the celebrated Risorgimental battle of Porta Pia and after totally destroyed in 1920 for built the fascist Ministero delle Ferrovie.
