1864, Paris, FRANCE : The french actress and acrobatic dancer at OPERA COMIQUE Marguerite Bellanger, born Julie Leboeuf (1838 - 1886). She is known as the courtesan who became mistress to the Emperor Napoleon III Bonaparte in the early 1860's. Some say she gave birth to the Emperors child named Charles Leboeuf (1864 - 1941). She is considered to be the model for Emile Zola 's NANA.In 1872 Marguerite married the british baronet Louis William Kulbach.
