1900 ca, AUSTRIA : The celebrated austrian theatre actor JOSEPH KAINZ (1858 - 1910). From 1880 he worked with Ernst von Possart at the National Theatre Munich and became one of the favourite actors and male lover of King Ludwig II of Bavaria appearing in private performance exclusively for the monarch's delight. He gained immense popularity with scintillating performances of Hamlet, Richard II by William Shakespeare, Friedrich Schiller 's Don Carlos and The Robbers and others plays by Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Franz Grillparzer ed Heinrich von Kleist.
