1939, 10 march, OSTIA ANTICA, ROME, ITALY : Found a kiss marble after 2200 years. Workmen are bringing to light in the ancient italian town of OSTIA, 14 miles south of Rome, a culture of three centuries before Christ, when Ostia was a flourishing seaport into wich the galleys from Africa brought corn for Rome.
