1880 ca, ROME, ITALY : The italian painter AUGUSTO CORELLI (Roma, 1853 - 1918). Roman painter, one of most famous of circle in little CIOCIARIA town of Anticoli Corrado (Roma), with atelier in Via Giulio Cesare in Roma. He studied at the Accademia di San Luca in Rome, then the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples, with Achille Guerra. From 1881 to 1909 he was Director of the Society of watercolorists (Società degli Acquarellisti). Married with the most beautiful model of Ciociaria named MARIA MEDDI. The couple have two sons. The first named CORRADO (born in Anticoli Corrado, 1884) was a soccer player in LAZIO S.S. from 1906 to 1921, Maggiore of italian Esercito and after celebrated sculptor. The other son FILIBERTO (Anticoli Corrado 1886 - Roma 1969) was a soccer player in Lazio S.S., after 1909 became a famous painter.
