1962, USA : The ex First-Lady ELEANOR ROOSEVELT (1884 - 1962) with the woman writer FANNIE HURST (1889 - 1968). Fannie Hurst was a prominent and prolific American author, celebrated for the novel IMITATION OF LIFE (Lo specchio della vita). Hurst is now best known for film adaptations of her works, particularly the 1934 film Imitation of Life and its 1959 remake, starring Lana Turner and John Gavin.
