1775 ca, FRANCE : MADAME ROLAND (1754 - 1793), Vicomtesse Marie-Jeanne Roland de la Platière, born Manon Philipon, married with Jean Marie Roland vicomte de la Platière (1734-1793), Prime Minister of king of France LOUIS XVI. Madame Roland was a supporter of the French Revolution and influential member of the Girondist faction. She fell out of favour during the Reign of Terror and died on the guillotine.
