1937, 23 september, NEW YORK, USA : VITTORIO MUSSOLINI (1916 - 1997), son of italian Fascist Duce dictator Benito MUSSOLINI, aged 2o year-old, arrived in New York the day 23 september from Rome. In this photo talke to reporters during a press conference at Ritz Tower Hotel the same day. Young Mussolini was en route to Hollywood to hire technical crews for his new film company. His new corporation intends beginning with STAN LAUREL and OLIVER HARDY parody on the Opera RIGOLETTO by Giuseppe Verdi. The Majors in Hollywood welcomed him with hostility and even the celebrated jewish producer Goldwyn Mayer refused the meeting: why the same days the father Benito and Adolf Hitler were making the Rome-Berlin Axis (signed on October 24) to aid fascist Francisco Franco 's Spain. As he said in an interview many years later, Vittorio Mussolini was greatly surprised.
