1927, 20 september, NEW YORK, USA : After the death of italian silent movie actor RUDOLPH VALENTINO (1895 - 1926) the italian sculptor Professor LELIO DE RANIERI (1890 - 1967) complete a bust of the dead film star. Lelio De Ranieri (born in Pietrasanta, 1890, burioed in Viaregge cementery in 1967), was a pupil of the School of Fine Arts " Stagio Stagi " in Pietrasanta from 1907 to 1913, obtaining various awards contests this years. Son, brother and grandson of sculptors, worked with his father in their workshop " Ferruccio De Ranieri and son" of Pietrasanta. At the end of the 1920's Lelio moved to the United States where he specialized as a designer of interiors of churches
