1935, ITALY : The italian journalist, Theatre critic and Fascist bureaucrat politician Avvocato NICOLA DE PIRRO (1898 1979) , portrait caricature by MINIACI. Director of the magazine SCENARIO, founded in 1932 by Silvio D'Amico (co-director from 1932 to 1936). During the Fascist time was the omnipotend Direttore Generale del Teatro Italiano with full freedom of censorship playwrights and performances. Thanks to the DC (Democrazia Cristiana) and Vatican survived unharmed, after 1945, continuing to occupy the prestigious post of Direttore Generale dello Spettacolo into the new founded MINISTERO DELLO SPETTACOLO, at last for limit of age left office the day 28 april 1963. Censorship of screenplay of IL BELL'ANTONIO by Pier Paolo Pasolini and Giovanni Visentini , from the novel by Vitaliano Brancati (after released in movie by director Mauro Bolognini).
