1875 ca., ROMA, ITALY : THE TEMPLE OF ANTONINUS AND FAUSTINA. This photo was shot before the destruction wanted by fascist dictator Benito Mussolini for built The VIA DEI FORI IMPERIALI (the road to Coliseum) and liberate the FORI IMPERIALI from modern builds, from 1924 to 1932. More of the more populate Quartiere MONTI with medioeval builds was destroyed. Today this Temple is completely in open space still it includes the old Catholic church of San Lorenzo in Miranda.
