Engraving " THE DEATH OF LEONARDO " (XIX century) by the artwork by french celebrated painter Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (1780 1867), engraved by Joseph Théodore Richomme (1785 1849). LEONARDO DA VINCI (1452 - 1519), aged 67 years old, is portraied at moment of death into the arms of King of France François I the day 2 may 1519 in Chateau d' Amboise (France). But in reality is a fantasy scene, the King was not present at time, was in his castle at Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
