1945, august, BOLOGNA, ITALY : After the liberation from Nazi-Fascist of Rome by the ALLIED american and british military troups stay in ROME and others italian towns. In town the soldiers passing time to meet italian beautiful young women and make touristic tours in Peace. The italian pubblisher Editrice Opera Nuova in august 1945 print a satyrical series of POSTCARDS titled " WELCOME " in sale for the troup to send at family and friends at home. In this photo a postcard with a funny portrait of a little boy Allied soldier with a little girl (Signorina) in front to Bologna directed to SANTUARIO DELLA MADONNA DI SAN LUCA.
