1944, 28 july, ROME, ITALY : After the liberation from Nazi-Fascist of Rome by the ALLIED american and british military troups stay in ROME. In town the soldiers passing time to meet italian beautiful young women and make touristic tours in Peace, for more just il temporal licence before start in war battles zone in North Italy. The italian editor CAPRIOTTI (approved by P. W. B. Psychological Warfare Branch in Rome) in july 1944 print a satyrical series of POSTCARDS in sale for the troup to send at family and friends at home. In this photo a postcard with a funny portrait of a group of Allied Force soldiers in VATICAN CITY.
