1924, PARIS, FRANCE : The celebrated swimmer and future movie actor JOHNNY WEISSMULLER (Chicago 1904 - Acapulco, Mexico 1984) with some of 1924 Paris Olympic American swimming Team champions. Johnny WEISSMULLER then held many swimming records with a total of five gold medals in swimming events from the Summer Olympics Games of 1924 and 1928. In 1924 Weissmuller won the 100 m freestyle Golden Medal, others 2 Golden medals in swimming and one bronze in water polo. From 1932 Weissmuller became the famous actor in TARZAN, THE APE MAN (1933) by W. S. Van Dyke.
