1943, LOS ANGELES, USA: The little CAROL ANN, daughter of actress JOAN BARRY (Mary Louise Gribble Baker, 1920 - 2007) with an attorney during the paternity suit trial under the celebrated movie actor and director CHARLES CHAPLIN (Charlie, 1889 - 1977). Joan Barry, was an American actress who had a short-lived career in the industry. She is perhaps, however, best-known for winning a paternity suit in California in 1943 against Chaplin, after an affair between the two resulted in two terminated pregnancies. Chaplin supported the child financially until her 21st birthday.
