1921, LONDON, GREAT BRITAIN : The russian dancer and choreographer Bronislava Nijinska as the Humming Bird Princess in " The Sleeping Princess "by Igor Stravinsky at BALLETS RUSSES by DIAGHILEV, 1921. Nijinska played a leading role in the pioneering movement that turned against 19th-century Classicism, which paved the way for neoclassical works to come. She was the younger sister of the renowned dancer VASLAV NIJINSKY (1888 - 1950).
