Ink-blotters printed in USA, advertising for the solo show FASCINATING WIDOW at the Liberty Theatre in New York City. Original Broadway production of the OTTO HAUERBACH and F. A. MILLS comedy with music, this production opened September 11th, 1911 and ran for 65 performances before mounting an ambitious national tour. As his star began to rise, he appeared in vaudeville and toured Europe and the United States, even giving a command performance before King Edward VII. By the time Eltinge arrived in Hollywood, he was considered one of the highest paid actors on the American stage; but with the arrival of the Great Depression and the death of vaudeville, Eltinges star began to fade.
