Princess Helen of Greece and Denmark (1896 1982), was a Queen Mother of Romania during the reign of her son King Michael I (born in 1921) from september 1940 todecember 1947. Was the daughter of King Constantine of Greece of House of Glücksburg (1868-1923) and Princess Sophia of Prussia (1870-1932) member of the House of Hohenzollern and daughter of Emperor Frederick III of Germany. Helen married in 1921 the Crown Prince Carol of Romania (1893-1953) and divorcied in 1928. The prince became King Carol II of Romania from 1930 to 1940, only after the divorce with Helen
