1670, AUSTRIA: The french Charles V (Charles Léopold Nicolas Sixte Leopold von Lothringen, 1643 1690), portrait by engraver Adriaen van Bloemen from original by Franciscus van der Steen. He was the son of Nicholas Francis Duke of Lorraine and Claude Françoise of Lorraine. Married with Eleanor of Austria (1653 1697) ex-Queen of Poland and Grand Duchess consort of Lithuania, she passed to her heirs the inheritance of the Gonzaga of Mantua. Father of 6 sons: Leopold Duke of Lorraine (1679 1729), Charles Joseph Bishop of Olomouc (1680 1715), François Abbot of Malmedy (1689 1715), Eleanor of Lorraine (1682), Charles Ferdinand of Lorraine (1683 1685) and General Joseph Innocent Emanuel of Lorraine (1685 1705)
