Was a monarch of the House of Bourbon who reigned as King of France from 1643 until his death in 1715. Son of King Louis XIII of France and Anne of Austria, married with Maria Theresa of Spain, father of Louis, le Grand Dauphin, known as Monseigneur, but he died before his father and never became king.
