1861 december, TURIN, ITALY: The italian painter ENRICO GAMBA (1831-1883). Young brother of painter Francesco Gamba (1818-1887). Friend of celebrated painters like Carlo Arienti, Telemaco Signorini, Eduard Steinlen, Cornelius, Friedrich Overbeck but about all very close friend of celebrated english painter Sir Frederic Leighton. With Leighton frequented the Antico Caffè Greco in Rome and in 1855 was in Paris and became closer of artists like Montfort, Hébert and Robert-Fleury
