1895 ca, ERITREA, AFRICA ITALIANA: The italian diplomatic Generale ALESSANDRO (Sandro) BODRERO (1865-1953) when was Tenente del IV Battaglione di Fanteria, under the orders of Generale Oreste Baratieri, at time of War against the Emperor of ETHIOPIA Menelik II at the battle of Amba Alagi. For his work he was decorated with two Military Value Medals (Medaglia al Valore Militare). In 1916 during the WWI, at front, became Colonnello del 3th Bersaglieri. After the was nomined General and in diplomacy charged Minister Plenipotenciary in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, from 1924 to 1928. In 1936 was again in Etiopia, nomined from the King of Italy with the decoration Order of SS. Maurizio e Lazzaro and in 1938 was Presidente della Società Anonima Navigazione Etritrea
