1900 c, ITALY: The celebrated italian Opera baritono GIUSEPPE BORGATTI (1871-1950). At Teatro alla Scala of Milano was into the first performance of TOSCA by Giacomo Puccini in 1900. Later he established himself in the Richard Wagner repertoire in Europe and America, receiving great awards in Berlin in 1904. He became one of the best Wagnerian performers of all time. Still unsurpassed. Giuseppe was the father of celebrated scandalous and openly lesbian pianist Renata Borgatti (1894-1964), specialized in the repertoire of Claude Debussy
