1900, ITALY: The celebrated italian Opera baritono GIUSEPPE BORGATTI (1871-1950). In this photo, Borgatti at Teatro alla Scala of Milano in ANTON by music composer CESARE GALEOTTI, with music director ARTURO TOSCANINI. Later he established himself in the Richard Wagner repertoire in Europe and America, receiving great awards in Berlin in 1904. He became one of the best Wagnerian performers of all time. Still unsurpassed. Giuseppe was the father of celebrated scandalous and openly lesbian pianist Renata Borgatti (1894-1964), specialized in the repertoire of Claude Debussy
