In this photo, Borgatti at Teatro Comunale of Bologna was the first italian Parsifal into the first performance of PARSIFAL by Richard Wagner. He established himself in the Richard Wagner repertoire in Europe and America, receiving great awards in Berlin in 1904. He became one of the best Wagnerian performers of all time. Still unsurpassed.
