Brother of celebrated PIETRO DI BRAZZA' e CERNEU SAVORGNAN (Roma 1852-Dakar, Senegal 1905), explorer in Congo for the France, founder of the town of BRAZZAVILLE (from his name BRAZZA). Giacomo and Pietro was 2 of 13 sons of the Neoclassic sculptor ASCANIO conte Di Brazzà e Cerneu marchese di Savorgnan (1793-1877) and marchesa Giacinta Simonetti di Gavignano
