Francesco was the son of florentinian writer and essayist, from Castiglion Fiorentino (Tuscany), Count Massimiliano Paglicci Brozzi and the noblewoman Angiola Laparelli.The surname of the family derives from the marriage, in 1790, between Conte Orlando Paglicci and Clarice dei conti Brozzi (great-grandparents of Francesco Paglicci Brozzi)
