1865, MANTOVA, ITALY: The italian rich jewish tradesman Angelo Miracolo Segré (Bozzolo, MN, 1819-Ancona, 1896).Angelo was the grandfather of celebrated italian, naturalized in USA, physicist Professor EMILIO Gino Segré (1905-1989), Nobel Prize for the PHYSICS in 1959. Angelo Miracolo (Miracolo Miracle because his mother gave birth to 54 years) married Egle Cases (1827-1905) and had 4 sons: the engineer Claudio (1854-1927), Giuseppe Abramo (1854-1944, married with Amelia Susanna Treves, killed in Auschwitz in 1943, parents of 3 children including the Nobel Winner Emilio Segré), Bice (married with Riccardo Rimini, parents of 4 children including Enrico Rimini celebrated Professor of Organic Chemistry) and Gino (1864-1942, celebrated Professor in Roman Law, father of 3 daughters).
