1893 c., CAMAGNA MONFERRATO, ALESSANDRIA, PIEMONTE, ITALY: The italian family STRAMBIO in the countryside VILLA STRAMBIO in Camagna Monferrato. From the right side: seated DOMENICO STRAMBIO with wife MARIA, the sons PAUL and ANNIBALE (with bunny, dog and gun for the hunting), standing behind Maria the female cousin baroness MARIE MALIVOIRE FILHOL DE CAMAS (Geneviéve Marie Joséphine, born in Arpajon, France, 1874). The Strambio family was originally from Spain, arrived in Monferrato (Piemonte) in 1510, another branch trasferred in Milano town where the family traditionally dedicated to Medicine or magistrates. Domenico Strambio, in this photo, with his two brothers Annibale and Pietro they where close friends of future San Don Giovanni Bosco (1815-1888), because they studied together in the same college. His brother Annibale Strambio (1819-1881), previously a priest, was a celebrated politician with Camillo Benso di Cavour and became Consul in Trieste, Bucarest and from 1877 in Marseille. The other brother Pietro became a Prefect.
